About Us

Simply Junket is a small Adelaide company, owned and operated by 2 ladies, created because of the public demand for junket to be returned to the community. 

Chr Hansen Junket tablets started to disappear from the shelves at the beginning of 2006, and the trickle of phone calls that came into the Adelaide Chr Hansen office turned into a flood by the middle of that year. 

This was in direct contradiction to the belief that there would be a bit of a flurry of enquires, then junket would disappear from memory but Junket was not about to be forgotten any time soon! 

So, due to public demand, a traditional and ‘old fashioned’ dessert was reborn with a new format and a new way of getting it out to you, the consumer. 

We have also learned from chatting to you all and reading your many letters, that junket is more than just a dessert and that it’s uses are many and varied. 

The other thing that we have learned is that although junket is not a large retail selling product, the people who do buy it are passionate about their junket!
